There’s a street in Monte Sereno called Seaborn Court. I’ve mentioned it before, but I want to tell the full story this time, because it’s better than the short version — and it’s the truest picture I can give you of how I work.
It’s named after me because I built it.
From REALTOR® to Developer
Years ago, through my own company, Seaborn Development LLC, I purchased a nearly one-acre parcel in Monte Sereno. Not as an agent representing a buyer — as the buyer. I saw what the land could become, and I went after it myself.
Turning One Acre Into Four Lots
Monte Sereno’s planning process is deliberately slow and strict — one of the reasons the city has stayed so low-density and desirable. I took the parcel through the full approval process with the City and secured a four-lot subdivision. That meant surveys, engineering, utilities, and more City meetings than most agents ever sit through in their careers. I managed the entire project myself, start to finish.
The Homes: What Sold in 2024
The subdivision produced three new luxury homes, all of which sold in 2024. Two of them, right on the street that now carries my name:
- 16219 Seaborn Court, Monte Sereno — sold for $4,840,000 (3 beds, 4 baths)
- 16221 Seaborn Court, Monte Sereno — sold for $4,700,000 (4 beds, 4 baths)
Once the homes were built and the street existed, the City needed a name for it. They chose Seaborn Court — after the person who developed it.
Why This Matters When You Work With Me
Every REALTOR® in this market can tell you they know Los Gatos and Monte Sereno. I can show you a street. I’ve sold real estate exclusively in this ZIP code for 25+ years, but Seaborn Court is the one project where I wasn’t just representing a transaction — I was the developer taking on the City approval process, the risk, and the execution, solo, on my own land.
That’s the same hands-on approach I bring to every listing and every client: I walk the property, I build the plan, and I don’t hand you off to an assistant or a team member. When you work with me, you get the person who has literally helped shape this town’s map.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Seaborn Court named after your family?
A: It’s named after me directly — I developed the four-lot subdivision myself through Seaborn Development LLC, and the City named the street after the project’s developer.
Q: When did the homes on Seaborn Court sell?
A: The subdivision’s new luxury homes sold in 2024, including two documented sales at $4.84M and $4.7M.
Q: Do you still work on development projects, or only as a REALTOR® now?
A: My primary focus today is representing buyers and sellers across Los Gatos and Monte Sereno, but my development background gives me a level of insight into construction, permitting, and land value that most agents simply don’t have.
If you’re curious what your street — or your corner of Monte Sereno — is worth today, or you just want to talk through a project on your own property, call or text me at (408) 859-5881 or email annette95030@gmail.com. I’d love to help.
